If you’ve come across my website, chances are you’re getting ready to start your theory or you’re stuck trying to understand a topic and need some help.
If you haven’t started a theory course yet, you have a couple of options:
In Person Theory Classes
Advanced Flight Theory offer full time class room style courses independent of any particular flight school.
Several helicopter flight schools now offer integrated training courses offering theory and flight training on a full time basis. Beyond this, some schools also offer part time (Eg. 2-3 nights a week) theory courses.
If you’d like to complete your theory with the same school that you complete your flight training, my best advice is to make a few calls and ask them what packages they can offer.
Self Paced Courses
This is how I completed my theory. While it’s definitely achievable, it’s a fairly solid commitment!
The two main providers in the area are Advanced Flight Theory and Online Aviation Theory
For what it’s worth, I completed my theory via Online Aviation Theory.
